Intro

Skillsbite set out to build an expanding, gamified learning ecosystem — a decentralised learning academy with personalised recommendations — powered by its own utility token, $SKILLS, on BNB Smart Chain.

This one is different from the rest of our work: Maks co-founded Skillsbite and ran it as CEO. So the brief came from the inside, and so did the deadlines — a fundraising round and a token sale.

What we designed:

  • A website that explains the Skillsbite universe, its token and its roadmap
  • A 23-slide investor deck, from the problem to token metrics
  • A token panel with eight modules: stats, claim, stake, farm, buy, governance, ranking and token info

Meet Skillsbite

Skillsbite's idea was a universe of knowledge: learning paths, a recommendation system and a community where learning is rewarded. The $SKILLS token sat at its centre — used to pay for learning, earn rewards, stake and vote on the platform's direction.

The core team was small — two co-founders, a full-stack developer and a head of marketing — backed by blockchain, technical and business-development advisors.

The Skillsbite team

The challenge we tackled

One story for three audiences

Learners, investors and token holders need different things, but a startup can't afford three different brands. The same story had to work on a landing page, in a pitch meeting and inside a dApp.

Token mechanics people trust

Vesting, staking locks and claims are where holders get nervous. Every number — what's claimable, what's locked, for how long — had to be visible before anyone clicks.

A panel that can grow

Farming and governance were planned for later. The panel needed places for them from day one, clearly marked as coming soon.

Numbers investors can read

Allocation, round prices, supply and emission had to fit on a handful of slides without becoming a spreadsheet.

Our approach

01One universe, three surfaces

Deep space, violet light and the orange cookie mark run through the website, the deck and the panel, so an investor who saw the deck recognises the app on first login.

02Numbers before buttons

In the panel, every module leads with your numbers — total tokens, staked amount, bonus, allocation, rewards — and only then offers the action.

03A deck that tells the token story

Problem, solution and ecosystem first; then business model, token metrics, utility, emission and distribution; roadmap, team and advisors last.

The token panel is the part holders open every week, so it got the most care. Every action — stake, claim, unstake — shows the amount, the lock and the reward before you sign anything.

Three surfaces, one launch

Each deliverable had a job in the launch: the site to explain, the deck to raise, the panel to hold and use the token.

The deck's token metrics — 1 000 000 000 total supply, BEP-20 on BNB Smart Chain, three rounds at $0.02, $0.03 and $0.04 — are the same numbers the panel shows holders.

Staking, designed to reward patience

Four pools, from withdraw-anytime to a 12-month lock. Each card shows its rate, the total staked and your pending bonus, with stake, claim and unstake side by side.

The results

Skillsbite went into its fundraising with a site, a deck and a token app that all told the same story — designed by the people who had to pitch it.

Summary

Building our own startup taught us what clients go through: a deadline you can't move, investors who skim, and users who won't sign a transaction they don't understand.

That's why the token panel leads with numbers and the deck leads with the problem — and why we still design for founders the way we'd design for ourselves.

A social network where every NFT gets its own feed

TrackTheMyth set out to build “Twitter for NFTs”: a place where each NFT has a page, its holder posts updates, and collectors follow the pieces and collections they care about. We designed the product and iterated it through three rounds.
